Description

DDS Signal Generator Module Development Board - Output configuration and ranges: two sine wave outputs and two square wave outputs. Frequency range 0-40 MHz for AD9850 and 0-70 MHz for AD9850. However harmonics increase and the waveform degrades after about 20-30 MHz. Square wave output is available up to 1 MHz. - Signal quality: equipped with a 70 MHz low-pass filter to improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the waveform. - Amplitude and duty cycle control: one pin for convenient amplitude adjustment of the output waveform. The comparator reference input voltage is generated by a variable resistor, enabling different duty cycles for square waves. - Oscillator stability: the AD9850 module uses a 125 MHz active oscillator, while the AD9851 module uses a 30 MHz active oscillator, delivering stable and reliable performance. - Compatibility and purpose: designed for use with AD9850/AD9851 DDS devices, suitable for development and testing of RF and signal generation applications. - Use scenarios: 1) Lab bench RF testing and waveform generation for prototyping and analysis. 2) Calibration and testing of amplifiers, filters, mixers, and SDR front-ends. 3) Educational demonstrations of DDS waveform generation, amplitude control, and duty-cycle adjustment.
