Powering On: Short press the "ON/Hold" button to turn on the meter. Do not insert test sample into the testing slot before turning on, otherwise self-calibration CAN NOT be completed. 2. After powering on, when both "UVR" and "IRR" display 0.0%, the sample can be inserted into the testing slot of the instrument. 3. Keep test sample stationary, and test data will be displayed on the LCD. Once the data stabilizes, short press the "ON/Hold" button to hold test data ("HOLD" symbol will appear in the upper left corner of the LCD) for reading. 4. Power Offing: Press and hold the "ON/Hold" button for 3 second and release, or the meter will automatically shut down after 3 minutes of inactivity.
