Granions Iodine is a dietary supplement that contributes to thyroid activity. This trace element contributes to the production of thyroid hormones: T4 and T3, its active form and to normal thyroid function. Thyroid hormones are primarily involved in various fundamental processes: cellular metabolism, energy balance (including calorigenesis and thermoregulation), metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, protein and enzyme synthesis.
