Industrial-grade design with complete communication isolation ensures stable and reliable performance with a transmission rate of up to 500 Kbps. Built-in high-quality DC/DC isolated power module provides electrical isolation between ports. Supports multi-machine communication with up to 128 nodes and transmission distance up to 1200 meters. Features automatic data flow control technology to automatically detect and manage data transmission direction. Includes multiple protection measures: 15 kV ESD protection (positive and negative), 600 W dual-channel TVS protection, and 2.5 kV communication isolation. Keep communication wires away from high-voltage lines; avoid running parallel to power cables or bundling together. 3. Use a daisy-chain bus topology; avoid star or fork connections. 4. Use a 485 repeater when connecting more than 30 controllers or when cable length exceeds 500 meters. 5. Ensure proper grounding for all equipment and AC power supply units. 6. Connect the GND terminal of all 485 devices using a shielded cable. 7. Install a 120-ohm termination resistor in parallel across 485+ (A) and 485- (B) at the last device on the bus.
