The MPXV7002 series piezoresistive sensor in A Small Size package (SOP) is an advanced monolithic silicon pressure sensor designed for a wide range of applications, especially those using microcontrollers or microprocessors with A/D inputs. This patented single-element transducer combines advanced micromachining, thin-film metallization, and bipolar processing technologies to provide an accurate, high-level analog output signal proportional to the pressure applied. The MPXV7002 is designed to measure positive and negative pressures. In addition, the offset of the series is specifically 2.5V instead of the traditional 0V, and the series allows up to 7kPa of pressure to be measured through each port for both pressure sensing and vacuum sensing.
