Remastered at Battery Studio's New York by Sony's Sean Brennan A native of the Windy City suburb of Blue Island, Brown was born on July 11, 1953 and was the first artist to have a million-selling 12' single in 1977. Following Snap's release, Brown co-wrote Madonna's signature song "Material Girl" and also penned "Maybe It Was Magic" for Agnetha Faltskog before retiring from the music business due to tinnitus, starting a family and a successful design firm. Long out of print, Snap is at long last available in newly remastered form, an event for long time Peter Brown fans and lovers of great, unheralded music in general.
