Description

ELV is a mechanical failure in the steering column lock that occurs independently of any other fault. In the event of malfunction, even with a fully functional vehicle key, the engine may not start because the ELV steering column lock cannot be activated. In such cases, a new ELV steering column lock must be installed and programmed to the vehicle.
