BT-100U cash drawer trigger is designed to provide USB interfacing for cash drawers. This allows a cash drawer, previously connected to a POS printer or cash register, to be directly connected to a computer's USB port. With the USB trigger, the cash drawer can be directly connected to the computer in POS systems where no printer is used. The BT-100U USB trigger module uses a virtual serial port driver, making it appear to software as a standard RS232 serial port. This enables existing POS software to communicate with the USB cash drawer trigger as if it were connected to a serial port.
