Oligoplantis Plantis defenses is a food supplement based on zinc, copper and selenium minerals that intervene in biochemical processes necessary for the development of life. These include cellular respiration, the use of oxygen by the cell, the reproduction of both DNA and RNA, the maintenance of the integrity of the cell membrane and the elimination of free radicals, a process that is done through a cascade of enzyme systems. They are also necessary to keep the immune system in optimal condition. Zinc is an essential mineral for our body. It has a specific role in more than 300 enzymes that participate in all important biochemical reactions in the human body. It has a direct effect on growth, neurological development and the immune system, is part of insulin as a regulator of the use of carbohydrates and is involved in protein synthesis. Copper is a mineral present in plasma. It is necessary to convert the iron stored in the body into hemoglobin and to properly assimilate iron from food. It participates in the assimilation of vitamin C and is part of the oxygenases, enzymes responsible for transforming molecular oxygen into water and hydrogen peroxide. Selenium is an essential micronutrient for human health, mainly due to its involvement as a cofactor for enzymes with antioxidant activity that protect the body.
